Building Relationships While Improving Smiles
I love coming to work each morning: I spend my days developing and strengthening relationships with remarkable people while helping them achieve their healthiest smile. I can’t imagine anything more fulfilling!
My mother is a dental assistant and she inspired me. I started working in the dental field when I was 13 and have been a practicing dentist for 15 years. During that time I’ve met and helped so many people. Each of them has enriched my life, sharing their stories and letting me learn who they are on a personal level. Dentistry, as practiced at Brighton Smiles, is about caring about the whole person, not just their teeth!
I am enthusiastic about helping people take control of their smiles. Today’s dental technology and treatment options mean painless visits and incredible results. By partnering with a patient, everyone here works to help that person develop an appreciation for their oral health. We focus on individual care: during their visit, that person is our top priority!
I’m proud of my team and our office. Our halls and rooms are filled with laughter, humming, singing, and smiles. We love what we do and it shows. Our patients become part of our extended family and revel in our environment. When a patient arrives smiling and excited to tell us their latest news, we’re thrilled.
We are honored to have been voted to be a “5280 Top Dentist” from 2011 through 2016!
Education and Continuing Education
My Bachelor of Science was awarded by the Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1997. I then attended the Colorado School of Dentistry, where I graduated in 2001 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Right now is the best time to be a dentist. New techniques, technologies, and dental materials all mean better diagnostics, pain-free care, and incredible results. As a dentist, it’s my responsibility to stay up-to-date on these changes and how they can help my patients.
Each year I complete many continuing education courses and attend conferences, seminars, and lectures. I’m also active in the Phoenix Implant Study Club, 5280 Study Club (Seattle Study Club), and the Scottsdale CEREC® Center.
